This compact little mass – only eight minutes – includes the Kyrie, Gloria, Sanctus and Benedictus, and Agnus Dei. It is a cappella with divisi in all voice parts. The beginning statement and the closing statement are pianissimo. Every emotion, dynamic and expressive technique are employed in between. Powerful, emotional and descriptive writing requires every bit of skill from the choir.
