This piece for intermediate band begins with a slower, lyrical introduction by the clarinets before the rest of the band joins them. Suddenly the percussion section takes all of the attention with an 18-bar soli, quiet but driving before the winds return with a slower legato section again. The music closes with the whole band taking up what the percussion section introduced earlier, driving to a rousing finish. Condensed score sold separately.
