This fast, chromatic solo in 4/4 meter features a melody divided between the hands in Middle C position. As the melody trades back-and-forth between the right hand and left hand, the melodic line begins to resemble the shape of a rollercoaster. Students will be tempted to play this piece as fast as they can. The optional duet accompaniment provides rhythmic support and keeps the rollercoaster from running out of control!
