Inspired by a trip to Sweden and Norway, this piece captures the drama and excitement of seeing the Viking ships in person. Although written for a large District Elementary Festival, this piece works well with any size group of any age. It uses tremolo, pizzicato, col legno, accents, tenuto, legato and an occasional high 3rd finger in the 1st Violin and Viola parts.
