Written in C major and 4/4 meter, the focus of the piece is the left hand that features a repeating walking bass pattern. If the eighth notes are swung, the solo takes on a more jazz-like character. Either way, it is a jaunty solo filled with rhythmic vitality and lots of patterns for ease in learning.
