This beautiful, unique chorale serves as the basis to Johannes Brahms's famous orchestral masterpiece Variations on a Theme of Haydn. (Long attributed to Franz Joseph Haydn, recent scholarship indicates that it was probably written by some other composer of the Classical period.)
