With the bases loaded, Nate is up to bat. Will he get a grand slam hit? Students can experience the excitement of a Little League baseball game with this Middle C position solo written in 3/4 meter. The melody is divided between the left hand and right hand for most of the piece. The last four measures have contrary motion between the hands and a change to C position in the left hand. The optional teacher duet creates rhythmic security and adds harmonic interest.
