Eric Harding Thiman（エリック・ハーディング・ティマン）は、オルガニストであり作曲家でもあります。1930年からはRAMの和声学教授を務め、1956年から1962年まではロンドン大学音楽学部の学部長を務めた。エリジアン・コンサート・ソサエティとパーリー・コーラル・ソサエティの指揮者を務め、1957年からはシティ・テンプルでオルガニスト兼合唱指揮者を務めた。会衆唱歌の熱心な提唱者であり、W・T・ホワイトリーの『Congregational Hymn-singing in England』にその方法を寄稿し、『Congregational Praise』の音楽委員長も務めた。
