Written and first performed in 1982, Grand Pianola Music is scored for brass, winds, percussion, 2 pianos and 3 amplified women's voices. The piece was inspired by the sounds created in the hallway joining all the practice rooms at San Francisco Conservatory where Adams taught. Parts available on rental.
