Both will help students learn and memorize the piece quickly. Written in 4/4 time and C position, the melody is found in the right hand and is accompanied by left-hand intervals of fifths and seconds. Both staccato and legato touches are required as well as a full dynamic range from piano to forte. This solo can serve as an excellent review of many first year concepts.
